The book presents a collection of hadiths that emphasize the values of adab, which serve as an essential foundation in Islamic education and character formation. In the context of globalization and rapid technological development, Islamic education plays an increasingly important role in shaping the moral character of Muslim individuals. This study aims to analyze the concepts of adab and knowledge presented in Riyadh al-Shalihin and their implications for the design of an Islamic education curriculum, focusing on educational objectives, learning processes, and evaluation systems that can cultivate knowledgeable and well-mannered students. Using a literature study method, the research analyzes various relevant sources, including books and historical documents. The findings indicate that an education model grounded in adab and knowledge implemented through the internalization of moral values, teacher role modeling, and a curriculum that integrates theory with daily practice can effectively enhance students’ understanding and application of Islamic teachings. Furthermore, integrating religious and general knowledge into the curriculum contributes to a broader, more relevant learning experience. Further studies are recommended to deepen the development of learning processes and evaluation models in curricula inspired by Riyadh al-Shalihin.
2026-06-05T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Abu Darda, Serene Fawwaz Afinandya, Muhammad Thoriqul Islam, Ahmad Wahyulil Albab , Habib Bawafihttps://www.asimilasi.journalilmiah.org/index.php/ja/article/view/110Development of Contextual-Based Student Worksheets (LKPD) To Improve Reading Skills of Grade II Students at MIN Bah Kapul Pematang Siantar2026-05-26T22:07:45+07:00Egi Syahirahsyahirah0306221018@uinsu.ac.idAndina Halimsyah Rambeandinahalimsyahrambe@uinsu.ac.id
The low reading ability of lower-grade students remains a fundamental problem in elementary school learning, including among second-grade students at MIN Bah Kapul Pematang Siantar. This condition is influenced by the limited availability of instructional materials that are less engaging and not yet connected to students’ daily life contexts. Therefore, this study aims to develop Contextual-Based Student Worksheets (LKPD) to improve the reading skills of second-grade students at MIN Bah Kapul Pematang Siantar. This research employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which comprises the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The trial subjects in this study were 26 second-grade students. Data collection techniques included observation, questionnaires, and reading ability tests. The results of the study indicate that the developed LKPD is valid, practical, and effective. The validity results show a score of 81% from media experts (very valid) and 80% from material experts (valid). The practicality results indicate positive responses from teachers (98%) and students (81%) with very feasible criteria. Meanwhile, the effectiveness results show an improvement in students’ reading ability, as indicated by the increase in the average pretest score from 56.67 to 84.37 in the posttest, with an N-Gain score of 0.64 (moderate category). Thus, the context-based LKPD developed is suitable for use and effective in improving students’ reading skills.
2026-06-05T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Egi Syahirah, Andina Halimsyah Rambehttps://www.asimilasi.journalilmiah.org/index.php/ja/article/view/111Development of Web-Based Islamic Religious Education Evaluation Instruments at The 1st State of SMP N 1 Laut Tador2026-05-17T21:27:00+07:00Aulia Rahmah Puteri Rahmahannadwizaid6@gmail.comSalminawati SalminawatiSalminawati@uinsu.ac.idZaini Dahlanzainidahlan@uinsu.ac.id
This study aims to: (1) develop a web-based Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning evaluation instrument at the UPT SMP Negeri 1 Laut Tador using the ADDIE development model; (2) determine the instrument's validity based on expert assessments; (3) determine the instrument's practicality based on teacher and student responses; and (4) determine the instrument's effectiveness in improving the quality of PAI learning evaluation. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study using the ADDIE model, which includes five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects consisted of material experts, media experts, evaluation experts, PAI teachers, and students at UPT SMP Negeri 1 Laut Tador. Data collection techniques used expert validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. Data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively using a percentage formula to determine the product's feasibility category. The results indicate that the developed web-based PAI evaluation instrument is categorized as highly valid based on assessments by material experts, media experts, and evaluation experts. Teacher and student responses indicate a highly practical category, making the instrument easy to use in the learning evaluation process. Furthermore, the effectiveness test results demonstrated that the use of web-based instruments increased student engagement and provided more objective, faster, and more efficient evaluation results compared to conventional evaluations. Thus, the developed web-based Islamic Religious Education evaluation instrument was deemed feasible, practical, and effective for use in supporting the Islamic Religious Education learning evaluation process at the UPT SMP Negeri 1 Laut Tador.
2026-06-05T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Aulia Rahmah Puteri Rahmah, Salminawati, Zaini Dahlan
